Because the design is too bland, almost as plain as text in a newspaper, I thought of putting it up on a newspaper background. Vipul came up with the perspective idea and here it is. First time, I spent reasonable time on presenting to make up for not spending as much on designing. Leave your [...]

I have an end-semester exam in about 3 hours. And this tribute is something that has been long due. There is no reason why I have to write it now when I should probably be mugging up something for the paper. But then, as is the case, I felt like writing this one right now. [...]

Six of us (Me, Rathi, Khandu, Abhey, Vikas and Niyati)  here on campus are complete coffee freaks. I am the new coffee lover in the group while rest of them have been mad about it ever since as far as I know. Coffee Club is what we have started calling ourselves. We will soon have [...]

(Not really a poetry but nor a prose. And probably you should read this first) Remember? I told you once Of those thousand scintilla, Resonating in me. Another expressive typographical design. ‘Ram’, the Hindu god who [...]

nikitaramteke

A completely rectilinear ambigram that reads “nikitaramteke” – made for Nikita Ramteke. I have tried something very new with the k-te here. I am yet to achieve something worthwhile in terms of themes given to present my ambigrams; hopefully it will come with time, now that I have started putting efforts in the direction Do [...]

mehul

This one was long due. Mehul, the most enthusiastic kid in Rang, The Fine Arts Club of IIT Bombay. I tried to play with shapes this time. Without some tweaks, the original goth font wouldn’t allow me to get certain shapes. Adding a little fluidity to it helped. Do leave your feedback.

KANIKA

A simple, rectilinear trace.. My first ambigram without any curves and loops.. And second (first one) one with a mix of roman and devanagri (not by choice but because I couldn’t create “Kanika” satisfactorily) . Do leave your comments.
